11.30.09

Amber: lunch.

Ben: Dare I eat a peach, dare I take a chance, dare I experience life as it is and without apprehensions, without those lofty romantic ideals that have caused so much pain already, and dare I step outside to see how the sun has risen again, and how, even if it were to rain, I don't need to remind myself to breathe.

Morgan: Don't worry about tomorrow.

Rachel: Lunch with the girls. Can't believe November is over. Only one more month of sametime1:04. Wow.

Amber: Costco for hours look my image is being printed before the printer went crazy and decided to stop.

Ben: Some things were not meant to be survived, and others, well, others are meant to be seen up close, front row, and so there's no question that ends come, and that ends define all that came before them.

Morgan: Library time starts now and ends... ?

Rachel: Family.

Amber: instead of turkey on the platter we will be having name pretzels. YUM!

Ben: In Baltimore, we came together and were thankful for the endearing moments we were to spend together, over food and drink, talking of old times and new, and thanking the warming inspiration that came quick and stayed long, passing itself like smiles on the faces of the newly met and the haven't seen in too long of a while.

Morgan: Assortment of chocolate covered desserts for after the Thanksgiving meal made by my sister, Erica.

Rachel: Shooting my aunt and uncle's Christmas card photos.

Amber: Cal Cal, Look at those eyes crazy things are happening behind them.

Ben: I was inspired to write, "Stay grounded, but never cease searching the skies, not for answers but dreams," and Jayme, for her birthday, loved the gift. "It's going above my bed, and so I can wake up to it each morning." "I'm glad you like it," I told her. And we hugged not minding the hangovers, and the cans of beer crushed and empty on the floor, on the counters, and between the cushions of the couch. (Thanks go out to Lanvi and her wonderful art.)

11.18.09

Amber: getting rid of the bananas pretty good cake. for leftovers.

Ben: I wish it were more specific, especially considering its placement (outside the bathroom). Did he mean the hand-drier, the sink, the toilet, or the obtuse comments hand-scrawled haphazardly in ink? And isn't the use of "important" overstating the understated connotations drawn from the use of "stuff"?

Morgan: You just had to be there to see how funny it was.

Rachel: Another Crossroads day with the girls.
