02.15.09

Amber: I should have listened to Rachael Ray, instead of doubling the fondue recipe, equaling two extra plates of chocolate dipped stuff to finish off !

Ben: I was there with one car riding my tail and two on the other sides, itching to be the first to go, pulling forward, pausing, signaling and flashing one another, I did as i was supposed to and thought, if this was what it meant by: 4-way, well, then the concept is more appealing than the actual experience, not sexy at all.

Morgan: Photographing and cheering for the VCU Biscuit Villains Men's team.

Rachel: "Maybe it's the way it makes me feel to see you smile."

02.14.09

Amber: In and out of the apartment, its time consuming being so forgetful.

Ben: And this is how it went: First the morning was dry, with hints of cotton mouth, sore throat, and the tinges of a sour stomach; i was but late five minutes to work and already knew i shouldn't have gone. I swept, dusted, and greeted a few folks, one being the type that wears too much camouflage--this wasn't for me, and wasn't how it was supposed to be, and in that moment i took a post-it, scribbling, "Sorry, this is not for me and i don't fit in," stuck it on the back door where it would be found, and left, driving an hour home, where i surprised my mom with roses, saying "Happy Valentines Day."

Morgan: Playing savage(no subs) at Winter league in Williamsburg-- "Blood makes the grass grow. KILL, KILL, KILL!"

Rachel: Woke up to a surprise Valentine's Day visit from the family... Becca just got her permit... watch out world, my sister's on the road!

02.13.08

Amber: Friday the 13th and I'm at (no kidding) 666 ----- st. assisting a photo shoot!

Ben: It's funny really, how at any given moment your picture can be taken, and you without ever being aware. Unless you're the dude sitting adjacent--then, well in that case, you were well aware and gave me the worse evil stare I've ever experienced, so, and in cases such as these and that, thank goodness for windows and the safety from afar.

Morgan: Achieving my first productive friday since the semester started by doing work early and getting some errands out of the way.

Rachel: Arbys; Introducing the backline- from left to right: Suada, Chanelle, Angie, and Zumra.

02.12.09

Amber: turning in a quiz and watching the madness.

Ben: I never did understand the insight, "They were like small ants moving about, the way they do, and while trying their best to survive," I mean I get it, I really do, but to understand someone best describes the inevitable mortality which life abides in a way which compares man to ant, well, to me that's absurd--this is absurd and all made up, something to type after posting pictures.

Morgan: I'm sure I was not the only one thinking there was no good reason to be in this dull room when it is such a beautiful day outside...

Rachel: Sitting down to lunch.

02.11.09

Amber: Matt Grundy, Mark Davis at your service.

Ben: Once again, I am well aware of the depersonalization of such images, where is, or are the people and happenings of verifiable reality--somethings can't be helped, like, boring lives.

Morgan: Even though the print turned out nice, the curled edges of the fiber paper are nearly impossible to flatten. I hate fiber paper.

Rachel: Hello little bug. Nice to see you today. I think I'll call you Joel.

02.10.09

Amber: "Does any one watch porn on the internet and jack off to it?"...The professor asked, talking about alternative addictions, video gaming, porn, money,..." addictive personality determines addictions not substances" a voice from the back of the room blurts out.

Ben: If only for the delight of personal amusement, and the glee derived from such--I'll oblige others, but more-so myself by inferring this presumption: and she said, "ohhh, hell nah--you did not just...mother fuh...you about to get slapped," i can only suppose the possibility, the combination of such words and their exactness, given, there might be a slight exaggeration, and further creative liberties taken...but--could you imagine?

Morgan: As Professor Wilson continued discussing Moses and the Ten Commandments, all I wanted to do was get up, walk out those door and take a nap.

Rachel: Admiring how the light comes through my windows.

02.09.09

Amber: Darkroom, awkwardly silent, but all so productive, in this state of solitude.

Ben: The work wasn't so much tedious as it was an inconvenience; somethings you just don't want to do--home work being one of them, not at home, but during lunch.

Morgan: Ran to my apartment, grabbed my camera, negatives, and computer, said hi-bye to my roommates, and left again.

Rachel: Walking home.

02.08.09

Amber: " Walk along the river, sweet lullaby, it just keeps on flowing,
It dont worry bout where its going, no, no.
Dont fly, mister blue bird, Im just walking down the road,
Early morning sunshine tell me all I need to know"

Ben: Shop's gallery, and me under a few pieces--God was I sick; didn't last much longer after this shot, I hit the road and then the bed.

Morgan: getting ready for a trip to chipotle.

Rachel: Sharpies.
